SOD: If there were one thing you could change about yourself, what would it be? Lauren: “I’d be less self-critical. It’s my biggest flaw. I’d put less stress on myself.”

SOD: What’s the best purchase you’ve made? Lauren: “My dog, Cheeky, a Maltese. He is five years old, but he looks like a puppy because he weighs five pounds.”

SOD: Which celebrity’s career do you most admire? Lauren: “Barbra Streisand. I recently saw a retrospective on her career, which has been phenomenal. She’s let nothing stop her and is excellent at everything she does.”

SOD: Who makes you laugh in the cast? Lauren: “When I’m watching scenes being taped, Michelle Stafford [Phyllis]. She’s a great actress who’s always very hilarious.”

SOD: What helps you relax? Lauren: “Shopping... until I get the bill!”

SOD: What song totally makes you happy, and why? Lauren: “Express Yourself, by Madonna. It really motivates me.”

SOD: What period in time would you want to travel to? Lauren: “Either during Prohibition, in the 20’s, because I would’ve been one of the underground people going to speakeasies, or the 70’s. I would have been at Studio 54, hanging out with all of the celebrities, or Andy Warhol’s Factory, just being around the artists.”
